Newspaper Article Reported Sept 2023 Hottest In Years

I decided to take a look online to gather information about the Monthly Average Temperature in the UK and came across this...

The data for August 2023 was 16.4°C and September 2023 was 15.2°C, these I found elsewhere like the Met Office and added on the bottom of this data graph which I found online at Statista.
