Poem Never belittle the Little

Never Belittle the little, 

when you Belittle the little,

little by little, 

you wittle

them down to the ground.

Please all Mother's Fathers and family members, please do not continue to harmfully belittle your children by calling them offensive names, please do not call them any names unless they are positive and supportive names of a kind like nature, for example pretty, clever, smart etc,. 

The damage name calling and insulting does to young children might be irreversible, after all it's a form of bullying and abusive behaviour towards our children, and as they grow up we might come to realise the true psychological damage that we never met to cause. 

It can cause social anxiety and lack of self confidence and self-esteem and leave individuals feeling worthless. 

So remind yourselves just how much you love your children everyday. 

We know they can push us to our limits and make us feel exhausted. 

Part of loving them is treating them with the upmost respect, then you will watch them grow up to be confident adults that you can be proud, through respect we learn to trust, and we learn the real value of love. 

Sometimes we have to go for a walk, or count to 10, and take deep breaths, then once we feel calm again we can re enter the room with a different perspective.
